While I personally love the Floyd Rose system, it became a little annoying for Rocksmith. Practice using Rocksmith, then learn (or create) the songs you want, away from the game.įYI: I highly recommend using a guitar with a standard tremolo system and not something like a Floyd Rose system. I love learning new songs but you also have to practice general guitar technique and Rocksmith is great for that. What Rocksmith does for me is it replaces "practice" sessions with something a little more engaging. I can remember bits and pieces of a few songs but that's it. I'm not good by any stretch, I stopped playing when I joined the army back in 98 and am just now starting to take it up again. All the songs from the original Rocksmith should be importable (no news on how) and the DLC should transfer in to 2014.
ROCKSMITH 2014 CABLE MUTE THE STRINGS PC
Unfortunately it looks like a $60 PC game (digital download). I am hoping I am able to download and play a bit later tonight, I'm not sure what to expect regarding Steam downloads (IE: Will it unlock at midnight EST?). Just bought off Steam hoping to preload, looks like no dice.
